Four new doctors
We are happy to inform you that, once again, four of our students received their doctor’s degrees. The four young doctors were congratulated with great enthusiasm, the cake was cut and the celebration could begin. It doesn’t take much in Africa to do that: put on music and the feet go off the floor. At first, the first-year students looked at the cat out of the tree but soon they were happily dancing along. Normally, at 10 o’clock the dogs are released for surveillance but an exception was made for us. We were allowed to continue until 11 o’clock. After that, it became quiet in the Centre. However, the next morning we heard that the doctors stayed chatting until 3 am. There was also so much to talk about after a year. Up at 6.30 am for Mass, so a short night.
